Composting Project in Adana
Our team has realized projects in different fields as a result of its work on sustainability values. One of these projects is the Composting Project. The main purpose of this project is to raise awareness by supporting the process of organic fertilizer production from biodegradable wastes for sustainable and healthy food production in organic agriculture.
In this project, which we carried out in partnership with Adana Yüreğir Municipality in one of the voluntary markets with a team of 8 people other than municipal officials, we turned biodegradable waste into fertilizer.
First of all, with the tools in our hands, we separated the harmful substances in the market wastes from the morning and turned them into fertilizer. We separated the wastes harmful to fertilizer such as bags, cardboard boxes, ropes, lids, etc. one by one with the help of our team. Afterwards, the scoop sent by the Municipality came and took the wastes ready to be fertilizer, which we cleaned from harmful substances, and placed them in the back of a truck. We continued this project for 3 weeks, but thanks to Yüreğir Municipality, the project still survives.
