Iğdır STEM Center

Inspired by the successful STEM center model we implemented in Payas, we launched the Iğdır STEM Center as a sustainable education initiative to increase students’ access to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in the region.

Our team designed the center’s weekly curriculum and training structure, developing a systematic program tailored to students’ age groups, interests, and knowledge levels. Through regular workshops and hands-on activities, we encouraged students’ curiosity and motivation toward STEM fields.

Through these training sessions, we observed a strong interest in STEM among participating students. To transform this interest into a long-term and sustainable learning pathway, we supported the establishment of two new FLL teams, enabling students to continue developing their skills through project-based robotics education and competitions.

With its scalable structure and long-term impact, we aim to expand STEM culture in underserved regions and inspire the next generation of innovators through the Iğdır STEM Center project.
